Helvetica Sucks, We’ve Fixed It. Here’s How.
Thursday, December 31st, 2009 | Courtesy Redesigns, Education | 4 Comments
We were looking through the pipes that make up the internet and found this lovely graphic from someone over at Typophile. The original image and article said that Helvetica was the best font of all time. After reading this blatant falsehood and throwing up a little in our mouths, we set out to correcting this debate once and for all.
To the left we’ve professionally redesigned the authors original attempt at being cute with some real deal fancymaking by taking the word “Helvetica” which was set in itself. What a dumb idea.
We’ve taken a dumb idea and done a 180 degree turnaround by putting Helvetica in Copperplate Gothic Bold. Look at how much better the design looks after the transformation. So maybe Helvetica is the best word to use for showcasing the Best Font Ever, Copperplate Gothic Bold. Don’t cry Helvetica, it’s ok, Copperplate made it better!
