The Only Deadly Sin Involves Avoiding CGB!!!
Wednesday, August 13th, 2008 | Food | No Comments

The only deadly sin is to not include Copperplate Gothic Bold in your design, in this case they are safe.
The only sin that these folks in JMU’s HTM 471 class committed was not using more Copperplate Gothic. Now you’ll note the difference, bold was not included in the description of the font.
This particular instance was discovered by Daniel Dunlap, former roommate of mine in college and all around good guy. He found this particular instance of Copperplate Gothic (sans-the-bold) used in this menu. You’ll notice that while similar it lacks some of the heftiness that a bold possesses. Good catch Mr. Dunlap, good catch. It’s people like Daniel, true blooded American’s who eat steak and mash potato’s for every meal of the day that keep this country ticking. And it’s design like this that keeps us wanting more of this beautiful font.
