Jonathan Adler Should Get A Cross-Stitching Medal of Honor for This Masterpiece

Our new friends over at Jonathan Adler use Copperplate Gothic Bold in their pillow designs! These things are freaking hand made in Peru by skilled artisans who not only did one hell of a job recreating Copperplate, but took Copperplate to another level.

We were unaware of Jonathan Adler until we spotted some negative words that we will not reprint here from some very snooty people on Twitter. These people are the kinds of folks who believe that Helvetica and Bickham Script are the best fonts in the world. We’re here (and Jonathan Adler here in spirit) are here to tell these folks that they better enjoy using their so called “designer” fonts because Copperplate in it’s incredible glory will outshine their fonts to the point where clients will demand Copperplate.

So thank you Jonathan for choosing such a wonderful font to showcase your Peruvian artisans, you earn the Copperplate Gothic Bold award of Amazement for the week!

Co-Optimus Just Needed Some Copperplate To Promote Friendship

Co-Optimus Just Needed Some Copperplate To Promote Friendship

One of our good friends of the project has a wonderful website on co-op gaming. This guy knows more about gaming than Will Smith knows about aliens.

Anyways hadn’t visited his site in a while and was disappointed to see that Copperplate Gothic Bold wasn’t used as the header for the website. We knew that the website, even without Copperplate, holds up on it’s own. The content on the site is great. However, when we redesigned it and used Copperplate Gothic Bold something unique happened, an Eagle came to the party with the robots and wanted to game as well.

Incredible, I couldn’t believe photoshop it just placed the eagle on the page right after I converted the sites title to Copperplate Gothic Bold. We’ve documented nicely on this site how Bald Eagles are attracted to Copperplate (they are bred that way) and to finish a design and have an Eagle show up was pretty incredible. So Mike, we hope you are listening and see how Copperplate can promote more people gaming on your site. Yet another fine example how if we use Copperplate all of the world’s problems will start to dissappear.

Let the power of CGB compel you!

Paterson Historic Building Angel-Man Paints Copperplate

This Man Is an Angel

This Man Is an Angel

This man is an angel, he spends every waking moment of his life creating and painting masterpieces of Copperplate Gothic Bold. Just look at his handiwork taking a beautiful font back to it’s roots where Frederic Goudy once created this beautiful enduring font with his bare hands. Risking life and limb, he tirelessley works to recreate Copperplate Gothic Bold branding on the side of the Paterson Historic Building.

If you look closely enough at the photo you can see a halo appear right above the mans green baseball cap. He has got to be an angel for making this work of art actually appear out of thin air on the side of the building. Painting Copperplate to this degree of detail in many countries is a sacred thing. Like Michaelangelo painted masterpieces, this man works on his the greatest achievement of his life painstainkingly recreating the work of Frederic Goudy himself.

So we implore the churches of the world, fire up the canonization process because this photo documents an angel, a saint here on earth doing great and magical things for the benefit of man kind. Thank you sir for your work and diligence promoting Copperplate Gothic Bold, it will not go unrecognized!
