New York City Hearts Copperplate Gothic Bold!
Wednesday, March 9th, 2011 | Real Estate, Travel | No Comments
What a majestic building sighted by our new friend @semanticwill

This building stands tall in the great city of New York apparently watching over central park. Such a great view probably commands a premium price in large part to the signage they have used to signify how great of a place it is to live.
No Mortgage to Cover Our Designs, This One’s On Us!!!
Thursday, August 14th, 2008 | Banks, Courtesy Redesigns, Finance, Products, Real Estate | No Comments

Suntrust bank offers mortgages and other loan products, we offer a design to help their business.
With all the talk of mortgages, sub-prime lending, loans and otherwise bank related things in the news we thought it only to appropriate to keep up the logo redesign for these banks who need a little help.
Their logos are tired, boring and otherwise don’t communicate the trust that they need to communicate. The Suntrust logo looks like they cut off a chickens head and put it on top of some letters. Well they can have their chicken and eat it too, it just needs a little help from Copperplate Gothic Bold.
Their mortgages and lending abilities may be fine, and they may make a killing off of their fractional reserve banking practices as all banks do, but their font is holding them back. By making a simple substitution of Copperplate Gothic Bold their logo goes from boring to incredible.
So Suntrust have fun, take our logo gratis, keep offering low rates on mortgages and watch as business skyrockets with this simple and easy to implement “change.”
Remax and Bill Edens sell security with CGB!!!
Tuesday, August 12th, 2008 | Real Estate | No Comments
Bill Edens with Remax realty knows a deal when he sees it. When off on a jog this evening I ran across this sign and almost got hit by a car after I jumped around in a jubilous bout.
This really is a great example of CGB really gettin the job done in an economic downturn, although with all the money in Arlington, va you can’t even tell anything is happening in a negative way.
While generally enjoying Long and Foster, this may change my loyalty if Bob and the Remax team keep up the great CGB work. Maybe a post coming up can be a courtesy redesign for our trusty folks at remax and long and foster, then we can see how they perform on a level playing field, I guess you could call it the Long Remax Remix.
