Put The Salsa Inside My Mouth
Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 | Food, Products | No Comments
Mrs. Renfro has been making salsa for a long time. She also must have many husbands under that Mrs. designation in order to produce enough salsa to stock and supply World Market.
We also know that both World Market and Mrs. Renfro have made the right decision working together and using Copperplate Gothic Bold as their font of choice to market her product. Nothing says chips and salsa like Copperplate Gothic Bold, nothing says salsa like Mrs. Renfro, nothing says winner like Copperplate Gothic Bold.
Hebrews Prefer Copperplate Gothic Bold!!!
Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 | Food, Health, Products, Restaurants | No Comments
9 out of 10 Hebrews prefer Copperplate Gothic Bold. It’s not limited to an isolated local anomaly, it’s a National preference.
Hebrew National certifies that Copperplate Gothic Bold is good enough a(nd worthy enough) to be brandished on their packaging. Hebrew National not only has to answer to consumers in the marketplace (but as their advertising states) they answer to a higher power.
So rather than be in “Nathan’s” “Ball Park” when it comes to delicious links of questionable meat (that all happens to taste the same regardless of what meat(s) it’s made of) go with your eye and what old Freddie Gaudy would have gone for, a heaping hunk of Copperplate!!!

Nothing says “Thank You” like Copperplate Gothic Bold.
We received this most excellent card a few weeks ago and it needed to be recorded as a fantastic example of the power and elegance of CGB. Nothing more is really needed to say other than thank you to the designer of this card and thank you to the person who gave it.
In essence we are also thanking all the amazing people who have helped us document CGB over the years. So thank you’s all around.
Plasma and Copperplate Were Made for Eachother
Wednesday, April 21st, 2010 | Products | No Comments
When we think of Copperplate we often think about plasma cutters, steel fabrication, and massively heavy implementations of Copperplate Gothic Bold!
We found this young man out in California who uses a plasma cutter to create cut outs of shapes in 14 gauge steel in a true assortment of products. In this case a totally awesome cut out of E in Copperplate Gothic Bold. So for the ultimate product in the ultimate font we want to thank Fred Nelson for creating this and posting his work online for all to see.
It would be great if Fred made a cut out of “Copperplate Gothic Bold is The Best Font Ever” and then sent one to us, that would be awesome.
Steven Singer Jeweler’s – Shiny Copperplate Bling!
Tuesday, April 13th, 2010 | Products | No Comments
Here a fantastic specimen of Copperplate Gothic Bold caught in the wild!
Steven Singer (I’m guessing from the photo) must be the buzz of the spring bee hive with his store emblazoned with his tagline so seductively inscribed on the door in Copperplate Gothic Bold. I’ll tell you what Steven, we’ll pass you the can of absolute whoop-ass that you can “Go On … Open It Up” and lay it on down showing all the other fonts of the world how it’s done!
It’s great seeing a jeweler using Copperplate in their design, they appreciate beauty and things that shine and by using Copperplate they know that their store and business will shine and sparkle just like the expensive rocks and metals they sell.
So give it up for Steven Singer for whistlin’ Dixie and dropping a Copperplate Gothic Bold tune our way by showing he’s got what it takes to be great. To our new friend Edwin Watkey, thanks for sharing this beautiful picture and teaching the world that Copperplate is the greatest font of all time.
Edwin Watkey is a young man who has a blog and in this blog he offers pictures from his everyday life. One of these pictures is included right here, a fantastic specimen of Copperplate Gothic Bold!
Jonathan Adler Letter Pillow Uses None-other than Copperplate Gothic Bold!
Thursday, March 4th, 2010 | Products | No Comments
Our new friends over at Jonathan Adler use Copperplate Gothic Bold in their pillow designs! These things are freaking hand made in Peru by skilled artisans who not only did one hell of a job recreating Copperplate, but took Copperplate to another level.
We were unaware of Jonathan Adler until we spotted some negative words that we will not reprint here from some very snooty people on Twitter. These people are the kinds of folks who believe that Helvetica and Bickham Script are the best fonts in the world. We’re here (and Jonathan Adler here in spirit) are here to tell these folks that they better enjoy using their so called “designer” fonts because Copperplate in it’s incredible glory will outshine their fonts to the point where clients will demand Copperplate.
So thank you Jonathan for choosing such a wonderful font to showcase your Peruvian artisans, you earn the Copperplate Gothic Bold award of Amazement for the week!
Canadian Hockey Team Won Gold Because of Copperplate!!!
Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010 | Education, Products | 1 Comment
The only reason why the Canadian Hockey team won the gold medal in the Olympics is because they used Copperplate Gothic Bold on their jerseys. We cannot think of any other reason than that as to why Canada won. This is perhaps the greatest example of recent times as to the dominance and the edge that Copperplate Gothic Bold gives to those who use it.
America should be ashamed for not having the foresight to anticipate the need for the extra help they would need in the finals. The least they could have done was create a separate final round jersey with Copperplate, that would have been logical.
You can’t deny that Copperplate was the extra man on the ice, silently urging players that they could achieve greatness, that they could dig just a little bit deeper to come up with a win.
Lets not underestimate those polite, beaver loving, Mountie policed, maple sugar high, tree hugging, moose eating, plaid wearing folks to the north. They knew exactly what they were doing in their national teams jersey design and let this be a lesson for the upcoming 2014 Olympics in Sochi, if you want to win you got to use Copperplate Gothic Bold!
Thanks to @pheriannath for this amazing find!
The Claw Candy Crane from Walmart, Take Candy From Children Legitamately.
Friday, February 19th, 2010 | Products | 1 Comment
It’s not a throwback to a Jim Carey movie where he just can’t stop lying, it’s a legit piece of equipment that can be purchased from your local Wallyworld that provides hours of enjoyment. It provides hours of enjoyment because you could literally spend 3 hours just looking at the box and contemplating how awesome the design is.
They literally used Copperplate Gothic Bold and chromified it…awesome.
They took a swooshing red symbol and put jagged lines at the end of it just like the claw you use in the game…awesome.
And to top all of it off they have a pretty kick ass gradient to boot… home run.
So thanks China, thanks for your hard work in creating a masterpiece toy that will be passed down in our family from generation to generation. One day when I’m just a glass jar with a head inside, I will observe my children’s children plunking in fake money and capturing candy with a metal claw. So here’s to you future grandchildren use this toy to learn how to claw your way to the top, and don’t forget the true unbelieveable power of Copperplate Gothic Bold to help you accomplish your dreams. Getting a little teary eyed just thinking about it.
