Mommy Saves Big, Daddy Is Happy, CGB Made it Happen!
Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 | Finance | No Comments
Overall it’s not bad. Although I don’t like the sites that offer coupons and then don’t actually have coupons, just a unique URL tailored around that particular search. Crafty Mommy, crafty. With all that time you have eating Bon-Bons around the house you must have thought that up. The best part of the site is that they use Copperplate Gothic Bold to tell the world they are powered by blogger. Powered by is a huge phrase and is totally the right way to use Copperplate. They knew that these other non-sense fonts like Bickham Pro or Helvetica weren’t up to the task that a real font like Copperplate can handle.
So congratulations Mommy, you not only chose wisely in your font choice earning a link from the most powerful website in the world, but you also gained one more fan of your savings that you provide to the world. So eat your bon-bons and keep on CGB’ing!
No Mortgage to Cover Our Designs, This One’s On Us!!!

Suntrust bank offers mortgages and other loan products, we offer a design to help their business.
With all the talk of mortgages, sub-prime lending, loans and otherwise bank related things in the news we thought it only to appropriate to keep up the logo redesign for these banks who need a little help.
Their logos are tired, boring and otherwise don’t communicate the trust that they need to communicate. The Suntrust logo looks like they cut off a chickens head and put it on top of some letters. Well they can have their chicken and eat it too, it just needs a little help from Copperplate Gothic Bold.
Their mortgages and lending abilities may be fine, and they may make a killing off of their fractional reserve banking practices as all banks do, but their font is holding them back. By making a simple substitution of Copperplate Gothic Bold their logo goes from boring to incredible.
So Suntrust have fun, take our logo gratis, keep offering low rates on mortgages and watch as business skyrockets with this simple and easy to implement “change.”
Mortgage, Banks, Sub-Prime Mortgages and Copperplate Gothic Bold!!!

CGB does a courtesy redesign of the Bank of America Logo and fixes all of the Loan woes of the world with one font.
We are suggesting a new logo for the mortgage, loan, and free checking company Bank of America.
We feel their current logo doesn’t quite show that they can give you the best rate for a mortgage, it shows you that they don’t care about you, they live in a stone castle overseas and that they couldn’t take the time to find a real American flag so basterdized a version of it.
If you find a house that you like, and you sign the dotted line for a mortgage, the rate at which you get the mortgage is important because a 1/4 of a percent can mean the difference of tens of thousands of dollars. So Bank of America, consider this our gift to you, in the hopes that you can beat this sub-prime mortgage meltdown mess and consider our logo which instills integrity, good will, and trust so that you and your customers can believe in your company. Copperplate Gothic Bold once again destroys anything that some sans-serif’d geeky looking designer in their parents back bedroom could ever conjour up.
Copperplate Gothic Bold, the font so good, you can bank on it!!!
