Canadian Hockey Team Won Gold Because of Copperplate!!!

Canada is Grateful for Their Hockey Team and Copperplate Gothic Bold for Winning Them the Gold!

Canada is Grateful for Their Hockey Team and Copperplate Gothic Bold for Winning Them the Gold!

The only reason why the Canadian Hockey team won the gold medal in the Olympics is because they used Copperplate Gothic Bold on their jerseys. We cannot think of any other reason than that as to why Canada won. This is perhaps the greatest example of recent times as to the dominance and the edge that Copperplate Gothic Bold gives to those who use it.

America should be ashamed for not having the foresight to anticipate the need for the extra help they would need in the finals. The least they could have done was create a separate final round jersey with Copperplate, that would have been logical.

You can’t deny that Copperplate was the extra man on the ice, silently urging players that they could achieve greatness, that they could dig just a little bit deeper to come up with a win.

Lets not underestimate those polite, beaver loving, Mountie policed, maple sugar high, tree hugging, moose eating, plaid wearing folks to the north. They knew exactly what they were doing in their national teams jersey design and let this be a lesson for the upcoming 2014 Olympics in Sochi, if you want to win you got to use Copperplate Gothic Bold!

Thanks to @pheriannath for this amazing find!

Rainforest Biodiversity Starts With a Font

Rainforest Diversity Starts With the Right Font...Choose Wisely

Rainforest Diversity Starts With the Right Font...Choose Wisely

The first thing about rainforest biodiversity is that you must choose the right font to be the face of your efforts, we’re happy to say these folks chose wisely.

Copperplate is a strong font, no denying that. Look at how happy the birds are, a big bird and small bird flying high above Copperplate and the name of the logo. The tree is interesting because if it weren’t for their efforts this sickly looking tree wouldn’t be able to live, because it would be destroyed just because it’s different.

So thank you Rainforest Biodiversity Group, your efforts are much appreciated and noticed.

Twitter Logo Redesign…Copperplate Makes it Awesome!

Twitter Logo Courtesy Redesign, Look How Much More Awesome It Is With Copperplate Gothic Bold and a Bald Eagle!

Twitter Logo Courtesy Redesign, Look How Much More Awesome It Is With Copperplate Gothic Bold and a Bald Eagle!

One of the ways to spread how great Copperplate Gothic Bold can be for every written instance of communication in the English language and design is through showing it. We take an existing logo for products we wither like or use on a regular basis that have proven they are worthy of being Copperplated and then through careful analysis, user testing, peer review, and a spin through the large hadryon collider we come up with a “Courtesy Redesign.”

These redesigns would normally cost in excess of $50,000 (easily) for work of this quality. Companies contact us all the time about how they enjoy the refreshes and that they will be working it into their new marketing plan. With that said, we have decided to address a services I Love Copperplate Gothic Bold the website has just gotten into…Twitter.

Twitter does an OK job, they’ve created something cool, it’s stuck around, and it’s a unique way to communicate. The problem is, it’s not the way to communicate…YET! So with a little help from Copperplate I think they can achieve that goal.

We incorporated the blue from their current logo in into the Twitter logo redesign. We also stuck with the bird but it wasn’t strong enough. Everyone likes strong things. Popular people, leaders, business people, bears, Bald Eagles. So we replaced the weak ass bird with an Americanized Bald Eagle. We think that they can substitute out the bird with different countries animals. France could be a lemur, China could be a Parrot, Australia could be a Kangaroo, Barbados could be a sick animal. It all helps to establish a strong brand presence in the country that Twitter sets up shop.

So thank you Twitter for the service so far, with this courtesy redesign (your welcome) we think that you’ll be able to take over the world and possibly the universe with the power of Copperplate Gothic Bold behind you. May the twit be with you.

Campbell’s Soup, Neuromarketing, Copperplate Gothic Bold, Mmm Mmm Better.

Campbells Soup Just Got Mmm Mmm Better.

Campbells Soup Just Got Mmm Mmm Better.

Scooby Doo and you too, look at what Campbells has done! They have now taken the leap into the 22nd century (way ahead of their time) by featuring none other than the best font of all time hands down…Copperplate Gothic Bold.

Primed and ready for consumers to plunk their money down for a darn good can of soup those folks at Campbells have it all figured out using the latest in neuromarketing to help soup afficianado’s find the right tasty can of goodness. In this case, they have used the power of human nature to influence the average person into purchasing their soups through design. Frederic would be proud, he might even say that this is the best use of Copperplate Gothic Bold ever. He just might if he were alive.

In fact, I bet good ol’ Freddy had his fair share of Campbells soup, I would bet a shiny wooden nickel that his favorite above all was alphabet shapes. Although he would curse the Campbell soup folks for not making the alphabet shapes Copperplate. I would not like to be around when good old Frederic Goudy wrote that strongly worded letter to the folks at Campbells, I’m sure it would have been written in Copperplate EXTRA Gothic Bold and would have removed any of the warmth that was left in the soup masters at Campbells. In fact, I bet that Frederic after writing this strongly worded letter got a formal apology from the president of Campbells and free soup for life. I can definitely see all of this happening.

Anyways kudos to the forward thinking at Campbells, we wish you great success in your redesign and let me tell you, with the power of CGB behind you nothing can go wrong. We wish the folks at Tropicana would have taken a note out of your lesson book in their most recent redesign debauchle. Mmm Mmm Bold.

Paterson Historic Building Angel-Man Paints Copperplate

Thursday, February 18th, 2010 | Education | No Comments

This Man Is an Angel

This Man Is an Angel

This man is an angel, he spends every waking moment of his life creating and painting masterpieces of Copperplate Gothic Bold. Just look at his handiwork taking a beautiful font back to it’s roots where Frederic Goudy once created this beautiful enduring font with his bare hands. Risking life and limb, he tirelessley works to recreate Copperplate Gothic Bold branding on the side of the Paterson Historic Building.

If you look closely enough at the photo you can see a halo appear right above the mans green baseball cap. He has got to be an angel for making this work of art actually appear out of thin air on the side of the building. Painting Copperplate to this degree of detail in many countries is a sacred thing. Like Michaelangelo painted masterpieces, this man works on his the greatest achievement of his life painstainkingly recreating the work of Frederic Goudy himself.

So we implore the churches of the world, fire up the canonization process because this photo documents an angel, a saint here on earth doing great and magical things for the benefit of man kind. Thank you sir for your work and diligence promoting Copperplate Gothic Bold, it will not go unrecognized!

Copperplate Gives a Three Hour Head Start

Monday, January 11th, 2010 | Education, Products | No Comments

A three hour head start in life with Copperplate Gothic Bold is much appreciated.

A three hour head start in life with Copperplate Gothic Bold is much appreciated.

We were alerted to a company that was selling pre-made business cards to creative types who weren’t able to think of creative things for themselves. We found this interesting and were drawn to, by our estimations, the best seller out of their entire inventory. It’s a somewhat clever way to show that a client will have an advantage by using that particular person. We found it no coincedence that they used Copperplate Gothic Bold as the font to show that they would have a clear advantage over their competitors! Copperplate gothic bold is incredible and this card make sure there is no question as to what the best font to use as.

So continue to be creative, continue to do great things, but remember if you don’t use Copperplate you might as well be the state of California compared to the East Coast, three hours behind everything!!!

Helvetica Sucks, We’ve Fixed It. Here’s How.

Thursday, December 31st, 2009 | Courtesy Redesigns, Education | 4 Comments

Best Font Ever, Copperplate Gothic BoldWe were looking through the pipes that make up the internet and found this lovely graphic from someone over at Typophile. The original image and article said that Helvetica was the best font of all time. After reading this blatant falsehood and throwing up a little in our mouths, we set out to correcting this debate once and for all.

To the left we’ve professionally redesigned the authors original attempt at being cute with some real deal fancymaking by taking the word “Helvetica” which was set in itself. What a dumb idea.

We’ve taken a dumb idea and done a 180 degree turnaround by putting Helvetica in Copperplate Gothic Bold. Look at how much better the design looks after the transformation. So maybe Helvetica is the best word to use for showcasing the Best Font Ever, Copperplate Gothic Bold. Don’t cry Helvetica, it’s ok, Copperplate made it better!

The Best Font Ever 2009…Copperplate Gothic Bold

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009 | Courtesy Redesigns, Education | 1 Comment

Just Creative Design Needed a New Logo, Copperplate Helped

While I was over at http://justcreativedesign.com/2009/03/04/the-top-100-best-fonts-of-all-time/ I noticed that designer Jacob Cass put together a few lists of the most popular fonts of all time. Noticeably down on the list was Copperplate Gothic Bold at… 60…(crickets). That’s right, he must have just creatively made up 59 other worthless fonts to be placed in front of Copperplate Gothic Bold. He must have also creatively made up all the nonsense about other fonts being better all throughout his internet postings, we couldn’t bear to see these other fonts getting the glory!

We also noticed his logo was in need of help so we’ve included a redesign for his logo free of charge as a professional courtesy! It truly rocks if we do say so ourselves, instead of crying his logo sings in it’s new color palette and fontscape of Copperplate Gothic Bold.

So we’ve created a special post for the “Best Font Ever 2009″ edition. Unanimous voting has decided that out of the millions of fonts available all over the world, that the Best Font Ever 2009 edition award goes to…..

Copperplate Gothic Bold

So put on your party hats ladies and gentleman, fire up the hookah, and let’s celebrate like it’s 1999 because Copperplate Gothic Bold has won the Best Font Ever award for the 2009th year in a row. So spread the good news and let’s defeat the support of any other font other than CGB in 2010!
