Caribou Coffee Logo Redesign…Redesigned!
Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 | Courtesy Redesigns
Sometimes redesign ideas are only half thought through. We found this to be the case with the latest Carribou Coffee logo redesign. Instead of thinking all the way through, they missed the most important part. The font choice for the actual name of the company doesn’t match the new design!
That’s where we come in. We have offered up our new redesign of their redesign to help set them on the path of true glory before they make the mistake of branding everything they own with a half baked idea.
In our new design clearly you can read the name of the company, it offers a strong, sleek, clear voice to their brand and their company. It matches the moose they have running off into the horizon. The moose might not have to run away from the logo this time, instead it may lay down to take a nap right on top of the name of the company.
So you’re welcome Carribou Coffee. We’ve even added an extra R into your name because you must have left it off in your first and second design. Everyone knows the name of the company has two R’s in it, stop confusing people. Once again Carribou Coffee you’re welcome.
That leaves the score: Copperplate +12 v. Non-Copperplate -23

It’s a caribou, stupid, not a moose.
