Happy Snowday America!
Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 | Courtesy Redesigns | No Comments
Every once in a great while we see an image, so striking, so amazing that is one step from truly being a complete masterpiece. Inspired by the ridiculous amount of snow outside that covers up any trace of Copperplate Gothic Bold (the horror!), we did a courtesy redesign of a snowy image. One thing you’ll notice in this image is the patriotism, who doesn’t love a snowman that holds an American flag. There is a deer right next to the snowman, deer might as well be our national animal next to the bald eagle. Nothing is more American than bald eagles and deer! The Bald Eagle suprisingly enough didn’t fly in for the artists rendering so we put one in there, on top of the American flag.
So here’s to snow days, America, and Copperplate Gothic Bold. Happy snow day.
Mommy Saves Big, Daddy Is Happy, CGB Made it Happen!

Mommy saves big using this website and Daddy appreciates Mommy not spending all of his hard earned money on trinkets and treasures! What a name for a website, it catches all the housewives who sit around with nothing to do all day while the kids take care of themselves. I was looking for a coupon for the sporting goods store and Copperplate Lover’s Dick’s and stumbled on this website.Overall it’s not bad. Although I don’t like the sites that offer coupons and then don’t actually have coupons, just a unique URL tailored around that particular search. Crafty Mommy, crafty. With all that time you have eating Bon-Bons around the house you must have thought that up. The best part of the site is that they use Copperplate Gothic Bold to tell the world they are powered by blogger. Powered by is a huge phrase and is totally the right way to use Copperplate. They knew that these other non-sense fonts like Bickham Pro or Helvetica weren’t up to the task that a real font like Copperplate can handle.
So congratulations Mommy, you not only chose wisely in your font choice earning a link from the most powerful website in the world, but you also gained one more fan of your savings that you provide to the world. So eat your bon-bons and keep on CGB’ing!
Ellezdesigns Loves Copperplate

Well how deedoo we found this website offering couples the opportunity to have Copperplate Gothic Bold offer it’s powers on their wedding day! We think this is a great idea. If we were getting married again I think we would use their “Belly bands” on just about every surface of the venue. However, we would not use any of the inferior other bands that use fonts outside of Copperplate because that would be a waste of time and money.I think it’s great that they found a way to give couples the option to use Copperplate in new and interesting ways. Using these bands in conjunction with their other design, or using it to create depth and interest to invitations or other elements of the wedding design is perfect.
So thank you Elle Z, you inspired us to feature you and to share you with the entire world. So world, here is Elle Z, and world this is the power of Copperplate Gothic Bold!
