The Crying Bald Eagle
Thursday, August 14th, 2008 | Courtesy Redesigns | 2 Comments

Today someone did something that was so truly horrible and vile that there was only one graphic that came to mind that could express our deep and exquisite sorrow…a crying eagle.
Instead of getting angry at the arbitrary and capricious nature of this persons request we created a symbol to express our disdain. So whenever someone does something to you or a loved one, slap em with a crying bald eagle. Nothing is more sad or depressing than watching an eagle cry. The first time I saw one cry it was one of the most gut wrenching experiences of my entire life. Now you too can bring this sorrow to someone else when they wrong you.
Copperplate Gothic Bold brings home the seriousness of the graphic and helps to elevate an already powerful image to a new level.

Getting DMViggy With It!!!

It’s not often we put up fonts unrelated to Copperplate Gothic Bold. In fact I don’t think we have. But it is the essence of the typeface to create beauty in the celebration of it’s glory. Henceforth, the Virginia I Love Copperplate Gothic Bold License plate.
This license plate very easily and succinctly establishes to non-believers that there is much “luv” for the font. Those in the know will honk their horns wildly and with much fanfare show their appreciation for the font.
So thanks Virginia for being so great, for clearing out the Indians off their land, for taking it from the native people and rightly establishing it in the name of England only to lead to this moment of greatness in license plate history. This truly is a great day for the Great Copper”plate”.

The archetype of Copperplate Gothic Bold use, when representing the best blogs this fine site uses Copperplate Gothic Bold to show the stamp of approval.
I think that these guys truly “knocked this one out of the park” when they deliberately chose a font that would convey the weight and true sincerity of being awarded best blog non-professional. Thanks Kofax and keep up the great work.

Verisphere is exceeding expections, with CGB.
This image captures 3 of the most powerful images in the entire world…literally. The World, a handshake and Copperplate Gothic Bold. The strong bonds to our humanity are evoked through the strong handshake over all of us, showing how truly small we are in comparison to the human condition.
The Gold in the Copperplate Gothic Gold shows that this company is rolling in the bling bringing in the big bucks. So thanks to Worth 1000 for bringing this superb image of greatness to the forefront and giving our Copperplate Gothic Bold fans an early christmas.
Ho Ho Ho - The Dan Band Gets It!!!
Thursday, August 14th, 2008 | Music | No Comments

The Dan Band is Hilarious, we added some CGB for them.
Our favorite Christmas Carol was penned by the Dan Band. Made famous through the wedding singer and later by Old School, the Dan Band is musical genius. After tiring of the normal broadway musicals, Dan Finnerty realized he could be more successful by using his voice to sing expletive filled covers of woman artists. Not just piss poor covers Dan belts out with the best of female singers.
We recently caught them at the 9:30 club in DC for the second time and we could not get this song out of our heads. So crank up the Apple TV, bust out the new Apple iPhone and crank that Dan Band for the whole family. This song will get stuck in your head. We recreated the logo for the intro to the video to be more friendly to Copperplate Gothic Bold. If the Dan Band wishes they may use this improved logo to help them get those high school gigs.
Chocolate, Rich, Sweet Chocolate Bold!!!

Ohhhhh Chocolate. What a magical world it is for those who are not lactarded. With a name like Koko they’ve got to be good.
Note to historians, chocolate websites love Copperplate Gothic Bold. Out of our searching we have found a predominance of the font used by the Chocolatiers. Why some may ask? We think it’s the richness and the boldness of chocolate that is the perfect complement to a little CGB.
So grab some of that nutty nugat and blend it with some carmelized caramel and enjoy the Copperplate Bold mixed with chocolate.

Mikita Chocolate good for the body and the eyes.
Mijita is a fun word to say and it’s a fun site to visit with it’s rich and frequent use of Copperplate Gothic Bold. Not onlyl do they serve up rich chocolately treats for desert but they also feature some pretty kickass food as well. We’ve never been there, probably never will eat there, but we sure do like their enthusiasm for life bringing a little South America love mixed with some Copperlate Gothic Bold. I’ll take a side of the Refried Bold with my cervesca!
